It introduces the foundational principles of color theory and their practical applications in shade matching, color correction, and product aesthetics. 

The curriculum covers a wide range of product forms—including powders, gels, liquids, emulsions, solid sticks, serums, and tints—detailing the physicochemical properties and formulation strategies specific to each. Students will gain in-depth knowledge of raw materials, including pigments, emollients, thickeners, film formers, preservatives, and active ingredients, with emphasis on functional performance, safety, and stability. 

The course provides a step-by-step guide to the formulation and fabrication processes for various makeup categories such as foundations, eyeshadows, lipsticks, mascaras, and blushes, incorporating both conventional and innovative techniques. Through a blend of theory and hands-on practice, learners will be equipped to design and develop high-performance, aesthetically pleasing, and market-ready makeup products.
